Baby Trunks Hat

So I decided to finally make that Baby Trunks hat for Kim's daughter Haley. In lew of learning how to knit, I decided to brush up on the use of a crochet hook. Youtube is amazingly helpful as was user tjw1963. Her videos made is very easy to learn basic techniques which I have long forgotten. So here's the final product:

Kim wanted the hat in red. This was the closest color I found in baby yarn. It's called Cherry Cherry. I used a J hook and Loin Brand Yarn (Vanna's Choice baby). Ya...I bought Vanna White endorsed yarn. All in all, I think I came out okay. Marisa will want one so I bought some black yarn and will probably begin construction...later.
